SaMoo7 I will only say this. Do not rely too much on online storage. Because free team drive sounds good but you are just a part of it. You are on loaned time to say the least. If you’re data survives an year or more it’s great for you. Google and other online storage services are not dumb if you think you can trick them. When they feel like changing their policy on any services in the future coz they will since they have already mentioned it in their T&C.
One last thing to everyone here. Try 2:2, 2:3, 2:4 or 3:3 and vise-versa, ratio backup structure like I do.
For example - If you dedicate 2TB of HDD for any content, Try to buy another and maintain a backup for the same (like Raid) and upload the same 2TB worth data to several institutes team drive for redundancy.
Conclusion: If you value your data, try to invest in such a way that most of the time you can access it remotely in your local network. Do SMART check on your HDD and use software like air explorer or similar to keep track of your team drive once in a while. This has been my solution for 12 years now.
